I see a lot of potential here, but the lack of basic features such as on screen instructions, restart or progress meters in the game make the overall experience fall. I think with a little more work it can be a good game.

Nice visuals, but it was not always clear which type of bullets were hurting which enemies. Enemies could have same colors as bullets that hurt them, It would be easier to grasp :) Also, player can exit the screen, but it should be easy to fix :) Good job for crossing the finish line :)
Wish there was a help page or tutorial. I also wish there was a way to rotate. If you can please try my game : https://doominator22.itch.io/48-hours
A good game. I like the concept. I would say match the enemy colors or shapes to the gun colors/shapes. also a telegraph would be nice before each wave, even if it was something simple like a countdown. The only other thing I would add would be a sound so I can receive confirmation that I actually hit the enemy.
I love the spaceship! Every detail is great, f. e. the flames or that you have boosters for all 8 directions, not only 4. I like the background. The chosen audio is good.
I know there are instructions in the screenshots but I think you can make the game a bit more self-explanatory -> f.e. yellow enemies for the yellow gun.
Some QoL features (autorestart, not flying of the screen) are missing but a good outcome for a jam game!
