This is the third or fourth Golf-style game I've played so far, and this has been by-far my favorite! The random elements seemed fun, and I ended the levels wishing that I could just keep playing! Personally, the only complain that I had was that "Heavy" was not only really boring compared to the other abilities, but also it was such a drastic weight increase that it felt like it wasted your turn.
At any rate, really fun game, and I loved the design choices!
Thank you for playing and thank you so much for your kind words! I agree that heavy was difficult to balance, and I felt being less strong was kinda wasting this... I definitely will have to revisit it sometimes ^^
golf but with dice. it's interesting how the dice rolls determine the obstacles because in most games i've played from this jam, the dice rolls give mostly good effects. the zoom in with subtitles after each die roll looks good at first but becomes repetitive eventually. maybe save it for the first time a certain roll is made. unfortunately i couldn't get far because my path was littered with food so it was almost impossible to move around. nonetheless, good job!
Thanks for playing! I was planning on adding that simplification of camera zooms, but thanks for the feedback!
