Wow I played this one for a very long time, I was just so busy with scaring :D It´s so cool! It only took a little long if the ghost had no or very low energy left. Had to wait for a long time then but I guess I should´ve planned it better :D Still really, really cool and enjoyable :)

Very good and polished game! I enjoyed the gameplay and appreciated the tutorials.
Good job!
An incredibly polished game. Huge job, great tutorials, camera work, interesting quests, and voice acting! best game I've seen so far)
I liked the concept for this game. Looks really polished as well.
I would appreciate it if you rated my game.
Really amazing game, but the third level almost broke me. Joe always leaves no matter what I do. Sometimes when I click an object the ghost doesn't possess it.
Wow! You guys did an amazing job on a technical level! I think it is pretty original and every aspect from the voice to the graphics are great! I wan't very convinced with the controls, tho. But for 1 week work, impressive!
The game was super good but I don't understand in the level 2 when i don't scare the animation at the beginning play and then when I lose, the animation replay.
I had fun playing(the graphics looks really good and the Music match the art style and the gameplay)Great Job.
Yes, ok, this is impressive. Also Kenny for the win! Smart use of their assets.
The idea is super funny and the "puzzles" are nice and relaxing, i mean scary.
I would have wished for a skip button.
wow the best game I played so far!
feels really polished and the audio and the narration is just awesome! cant believe this was made in one week!
Please check out mine and give a rating too, thanks ;)
A truly awesome game especially for the deadline, really worth the time to play, I could honestly see a full game come out of this, the voiceovers and witty humour are also amazing alongside the cutscenes and detailed writing for each client, really great job, well done on submitting and good luck with the jam, I truly think you deserve to rank highly! :)
What a brilliant idea for a game. A unique narrative, fun strategic gameplay, and might I add, one of the most well executed tutorials I've ever seen in a jam game. Well done.
i LOVEEEE the quirky narrator - they are so funny and the dialogue is so witty as well :) this is such a fun premise (and i love the way it gets harder) - it reminds me of this old game by super flash bros called haunt the house that i was OBSESSED with when i was younger. love this <3
Such amazing quality in a week! It's a very original idea. The voice acting is incredible, and so is the backstory. The mechanics are very well thought out and designed. The music really fits the game well. I wish that I could switch to a different ghost with a key button instead of having to click it. The biggest issue for me was trying to click on the right object didn't really seem to work 100% of the time.
Voice of the game answering here! Thank you so much <3 we've been wanting to add voice acting to our game jams for a while and since the Brackey's GameJam are a bit longer, we took advantage of it and a lot of people seem to enjoy it which is just so heartwarning to read :)
You can use keys to switch ghosts! See the number above a ghost head? Use the corresponding key of your keyboard to select that one! :D
I agree on the sometimes hard to click hitboxes but the deadline is what it is unfortunately!
Thank you again for playing and commenting :)
Amazing game! Really fun and original. Incredible quality for a gamejam. There is a lot of polish put into it with the detailed tutorial, voiceover and opening cutscenes.
One issue I had was that some of the objects (mostly lamps) had small hitboxes and were sometimes difficult to click on.
I had a funny bug on the last level where 2 people went outside to calm down and then just stayed there spinning around eachother :P
Thank you so very much for that comment, we're so glad you enjoyed our game!
Yeah, the hitboxes are far from perfect, we've heard that a lot unfortunately :/
haha, yeah, that thing can happen where neither of the guys can reach the spot so they can't rest xD
Refreshing the page and reload the game allows to use the "Continue" button in the main menu to restart the level :)
This game could be in steam perfectly, its great in every way, fun, good mechanics, feels smooth, good music and art selection, 10/10
Great game - love the idea/story and the way it is implemented into the game play. The story teller is very funny and the introduction to the game and how to play is really helpful. Sadly, I found a bug in my playthrough: In the level with the 3 ghosts (I think it is the last one) all of the scared humans ran out of the house and than got stuck outside at the corner of the house, out of my reach, so I couldn't do anything anymore. But bugs can be fixed :) so - overall: Great game and really funny!
Thank you very much! Glad you liked our game!
We had a lot of fun writing and recording the voice lines so it's awesome to see you enjoyed them! :D
Yeah, we were made aware of that bug shortly after the deadline, we wrote the "fix" in the game's description but I can understand if you did not see it. When that happens, simply reload the webpage, run the game and the main menu should have a "continue" button to take you right back to the level you were on. And you're correct, the 4th level with the 3 ghosts is, indeed, the last one ;)
I really loved the idea and the mechanics, really, really cool! Also, the intro is awesome, and the "it's twelve hours to the deadline" to the last mission added a nice touch (I'll pretend it was the last mission because I couldn't manage to finish it).
I liked the music throughout the game, but maybe the scare sound effects could be a bit more exaggerated, both from the objects and the people scared.
In the mission with the burglar I felt the ghosts' energy depleted way too fast, took quite a few recharges to manage it.
I never managed to possess some objects, like the radios, despite them having a highlight.
In the last mission, to make all the people in the house pass away, I couldn't possess the door at some point, it seemed like the clicks didn't register or maybe something was blocking it.
Overall, an amazing game! Had a lot of fun!
Hey thank you so much for that comment, it really means a lot to us! <3
You are totally correct, the 4th level is indeed the last one ;)
It can be a bit tricky, maybe even frustrating, but nothing forces you to scare them at the same time, you can pretend two of them don't exist, and focus on one, and them move the second one, and then the last one.
Yeah the sound are a bit drowned, I agree. I made them when the music was not integrated yet and had no time to fix the volumes later on, but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
One mechanic that isn't actually explained is that if you keep a ghost inside an object, it slowly depletes its energy, so you can find yourself short on energy if you do this.
Did you play on Firefox? For some obscure and unknown reason, the hitboxes on the side of the screen are off to the side if you play on Firefox, couldn't figure out why :(
Thank you again for the lovely and detailed feedback! :)
I loved it !
It feels very inspired by an old game called "Haunting Starring Polterguy", in all the best way !
It is so polished, like what the hell, voice acting ? Come on, how did you have that much time to make a good game with so much polish ? x)
Thank you so much!
Believe it or not, we had no idea this game even existed so it's pure coincidence :D
I think you just have to order your priorities. We've been wanting to add voice acting for our jam games for a little while so we made sure to include it in this one, by removing some other parts :)
But anyway, thank you for that very nice comment! :D
