I have written all the code from scratch using the Godot Game Engine and I have made all the assets from scratch using GIMP. I've made all sounds from scratch too using boscaceoil and sfxr.

Oh cool! It's great to see another word game in the jam. It's lonely in word valley. :) I tried to play it, but was unable to get it to run on my playtesting machine ("Your video card driver does not support any of the supported OpenGL versions.") so I can't rate it. But it looks like a cool idea! Interested in trying the Web version once you post that.

Nice game! Tho as other people mentioned, the music gets repetitive real fast. I'd suggest you looking into some music theory. Also making the game restart instantly instead of having to press retry would suit this type of game better. But still, this was a decent game!

I like the way you interpreted the theme definitely !

I just think that this game is quite hard to be honnest as there's definitely multiple solutions for some word. Also the music could use of some more work as it gets repetitive real fast.

A major improvement with no effort would be to be able to submit by pressing enter

Thank you for your feedback! I had a little bug with the Enter function, but I hope that I can fix that so it is in the next Version of the Game. I'll put some more effort in to the music and the core-mechanics as well.

Interesting idea, yet some words have multiple solutions so it can be hard to guess the good one from the start.

Great game, very unique and creative. Simple but great.
It does not work the way you mentioned in "How does it fit the theme". The new word doesnt start with last letter of last word. Nonetheless, I doesn't affect the gameplay.
The game could have more words, as they start repeating soon.

And why is it Yep instead of Yup? lol

Thank you for the feedback! I've worked 3 days on it, but then I needed to make a restart because of a weird bug... I don't have an idea too, I just got it from wikipedia and needed an word starting with "X". :D

impressive that you made this from scratch using gimp! i was a bit confused for how to know which letter should be in the middle when there could be multiple options (R_M could be RIM or RAM for example). nice work!

Fun but its hard to tell what letter you are expecting since you can spell multiple words with those letters. For example for P_N you can put in e to make pen or u to make pun. Also what goes in between a_c? Overall fun game and nice concept!
