The graphics are amazing and the unique visual style gives the game a distinctive personality. Carefully crafted details and well-executed visual effects truly bring each setting to life.

I knew someone would make a punishing game. It scared me into making my game no death.

It was very difficult for me just to reach the first checkpoint. Without the feature to control the high of a jump I don't stand a chance... Oh, I see what you done. But it would be cool the hold jump to control how high you jump so the player can get this over with. Great fit of the themes

Pretty clean overall! It was definitely a hard one so I think you hit your target on that! :D
I didn't get too far because of that though, so would have been cool to have a checkpoint setup or a way to experience more of the level at least just for the jam!

Maybe consider a screen that moves with the player and a smaller visual radius? It was nice seeing the entire level but made it awkward to play.
