Extremely creative game. The visuals are great, the response is nice and the game is nicely explained. The coin was my favorite card because it had a great strategic value . Great game!

I love this game, it's so charming. I love the visuals and the mechanics which are easy to understand (ignore the fact that I didn't realise I had to play all cards and was wondering why I cant start the round) and the challenge in later rounds is very fun!
The only nitpicks are that the collisions for where you can't place cards is a tad restrictive sometimes and I found a bug where a card can disappear if you try place it somewhere it can't go (but it usually only visually disappears, and goes back to the deck, still invisible). But those are nitpicks/things that can be fixed easily.
Very well done! I got to level 14 before I was bested the giga-chad slime :D
Very strong concept and execution; placement is a little finicky (maybe use a grid system next time) and don't know if this is intentional but u can place things behind the player
Really nice game, would definitely like to see it become a fully finished game! Loved the visual style as well. Well done!
I really like the concept and had a lot of fun playing the game. Nice art and nice gameplay Idea :D Great job !
The mechanic is both easy to understand and quite deep on repeated gameplay, which I really appreciated, especially with how you both have "good" and "bad" cards, and how the "bad" cards can be used against each other with good planning. If you ever make this a full game with even more cards, I'd love to check it out!
Blast, I soft-locked myself at level 15 after putting a card out of bounds!
Nevertheless, this was fun to play. The rules and mechanics are simple, but provides several way to strategize. Plus there's a welcome veriety between the different cards and floor hazards. Sometime I felt the hand I had was "unsolvable", but I guess this is the kind of thing hard to balance in a jam. But it didn't prevent me to go pretty far (technically I didn't lose!) (I wasn't confident on my success for this floor though)! So I guess I had a great time with the game. :)
Great game! I've played a bunch of similar games in the Jam but this one really stands out because of how simple yet fun is. Other games make too complicated systems with enjoyment bars and so and are difficult to understand. I think you made a good choice only having to make the hero survive. One thing i really like is that sometimes you can make the enemies kill themselves without the hero doing anything. All in all a great game really! I would love to see it developed further maybe with more mechanics that create more options but keeping the simplicity.
Really loved it, got hooked ! Sadly it buged at floor 12. Wanted to place rabbit in the corner it he disapeard :/ . Solid work, love the music, SFX, gameplay. Real good !
Very nice! This is a pretty polished and cohesive experience. Great job!
Like the idea of using cards to place the monster and items, and instead of defeating the hero, you need to guide and support the hero in their quest for success.
I use a similar idea that you build a dungeon, but the purpose of it is to make it exciting for the player in my game too. Great to see that great mind thinks alike.
I really like this game, however, I face a bug where I clicked a card attempting to put it on the map but it disappear instead, making me hard stuck and needing to restart the game multiple times.
