Hot Spring Town

Correlation to theme
a hot spring town to me seems like it should be peaceful, calm, and probably warm so i started off with that idea in mind. my idea of calm and peaceful is a lot of reverb and a very compressed master with a lot of bass.
water gave me the idea of an arp in the background (i dont know how my brain works ok), along with some rain noise.

i have zero knowledge of hot springs....

This song gives me Lo-Fi vibes. It is nice, slow and soft. Really fits a Hot Spring Town well! A lot of repeated chords and melodies to make it easy to listen to, yet enough variation not to sound straining on the ear. Quite nice song, well done :D

Absolutely nails the feeling of dipping into a hot spring. It doesn't have a lot going on composition-wise but the thick atmosphere and instrument choice surely makes up for it. Great work!

Gives a really floaty liquidy type feeling, I think you nailed the theme. I really like the way the drums that come in.

This is very relaxing. I think your intuition about the reverb and compression in the mixing/mastering was spot on and works very nicely. I like the bell arpeggios - they are my favorite part. I also really like how all the sounds seem to melt together while the kit retains its crisp quality. Great work and thank you for sharing!

I like it.

It reminds me of those weird/dream type of songs. Those that feel very calm and nostalgic.

Super soothing, the soothing deep bass makes me feel like Im floating in a pool and highs gives the twinkling  feeling of looking at stars. Great mix, well done!

Woooh... The atmosphere, the style... I was hooked from the start!

I like the hi-hat that wanders through the panorama and the wide synth layers... the beat too.

Feet in warm water under the stars... okay I'll listen to it again!

Otherwise, the mix is just a little too compressed for my taste.

Maybe that's just the style.

lots of cool things here, very LoFi style, especially with the drum and synth. 

Reminds a lot of the kind of music you'd find in the Persona series.

It sounds very relaxing and flowy much like the water at a hot spring would be (dont worry, my knowledge is limited to anime . . . .)

I feel the mix is a bit heavy at times, with a lot of things happening at once at similar frequencies and DB making it quite hard to focus on. 

Really cool idea! Keep up the awesome work.

thanks for the feedback! i'll try for a cleaner mix next time lol. also, i'm glad you compared it to persona. i listen to the catherine soundtrack by the same composer a lot
