There is potential here. It is very well animated. It does need a lot of attention tho, the pickup action locks the player untill ESC is pressed, the parallax background tiling needs to be fixed (currently it is possible to see it popping in), I managed somehow to clip on to stage geometry while going down a rope... There is a game here, a good one, it is a great base but needs work. Good Job!

Nice arts. Well polished game. Like others have said there is a bug while collecting. It took me a while to use rope without falling and dying. Lots of things for a jam. Good job!
