I liked this game! The hand painted environments reminded me of games like Worms.

Hey! Enjoyed your game - I love the mechanic of different characters, but I wish that there were more levels - and less where you could just use the key guy to go through a door.

I'd love it if you found some time to play my game, Grapple. If you do, please play the bug fixed version, linked on the game page (NOT the version from the standard itch.io download button). This version fixes some oddities/crashes to make the game experience more tolerable, but is otherwise the same game.

Thanks!

Grapple is fantastic! I can't believe how much game you managed to get done in 48 hours!

Here's our game. You have to dismantle a bomb in only 1 minutewhile using the manual.

Oh hey, I noticed that thread earlier about posting twice in the same thread with the exact same game and message. I didn't realize people were actually doing so. :P

Here is my game ./jam/gmtk-2019/rate/461947

Gave it a play, got killed many times by ghosts. Rated!

Hey! My game's all about moving in only one dimension at a time to solve puzzles. I've only got 4 ratings, so I'd really appreciate you checking it out!

This is a really cool game! It definitely deserves more than five ratings, haven't seen a game quite like this so far.

- Joe

(also Mark has posted about a Discord server specifically for people with less than 20 ratings https://twitter.com/gamemakerstk/status/1159329962840788992?s=20)

Submitted

Thanks! I've seen that, and I've been regularly posting in both rating channels, but there are so many people posting in there it's hard to get noticed.

Submitted

Hey there! I've made a rather short entry where you use your past "memories" of levels to, hopefully, succeed in the following.

I know I've made a mess while packaging and ended up with 400mb, which should actually be more like 80. Sadly I can't reupload right now, sorry for that.

Any feedback would go a long way, thanks for your time. :)

I really loved this game, was really creative and well implemented. It deserves more ratings, have you considered posting it to the GMTK discord for entries with less than 20 ratings?

- Joe

Submitted (1 edit)

Hey, thanks for the kind words :) I already did, but almost everyone just posts their game and leaves :/ Didn't even result in a single view. :(

Submitted

Maybe the 400 mb filesize is too high barrier to entry for some people, I skipped it when I was at home but came back to it on my lunch break at work where I have faster internet. It's a really cool idea, so I hope more people see it during the weekend - I've heard a few people say they plan to spend the weekend rating games with the fewest ratings.

Submitted

I thought about that too and thats entirely my fault. But nothing i can do about it now sadly. At least I now know how to package properly next time. ;) Anyways thanks again.

Here is my game so you don't run out of things to play!

Hey! My partner and I finished our first game and I would really like for you to try it and tell us what you think!

"One Item: Yo-Yo". Use your yo-yo to push, pull and swing yourself out of this crypt in 3 levels focusing on three mechanics using "only one" item. /jam/gmtk-2019/rate/463664

This is really awesome. If it felt a bit more like Worms Armegeddon I think it would be even better!
