I love the drawing idea but the game was a little confusing. As another commentor said, were the rooms laid out realistically?

I thought the first part of the game where you draw pictures of cats was fun and I also really liked the map making part aspect once I started playing it properly! I wasn’t sure if the real game map was laid out in a realistic way - for example if I go left, up, right, down do I end up in the same room? I’m guessing it is but it might have been nice to have an object or something in the starting room so I’d know. Also it threw me off a bit when the time ran out and I got thrown back to the main room as it took me a moment to work out what had happened and if I hadn’t realised I’d have gotten more lost, maybe a little transition would be cool so I knew.

A neat thing of a game. Maybe color code some of the walls to be able to differentiate where you are more intuitively?

This game resembles the Sierra-style labyrinth sections, isolated into its own little game.

I think the map drawing mechanic could be expanded on in order to increase the potential of the game. Right now, if you run into a problem drawing on the map, you have to erase it, by hand, and start over. External tools can do that job better.

To solve this, you may want to consider giving the player extra pages to draw on, so that you can reference your original drawing when having to shift your drawing or backtrack on it. You could throw out pages when you have a new, better page to reference from. That way, you can keep your drawing process clean.

You don't see this type of game literally anywhere. Keep going on this project, you might have your own niche!

nice little game. i love the idea of making yourself a map and using it in the next run, pretty clever :) the art is pretty cute as well. it took me embarrassingly long to realise that there were also doors on the "closer" invisible walls, i would maybe make those a bit more obvious to the player, for example with a doorframe or something. otherwise, i liked it!

Unfortunate, something seems to have compromised the control system, for the game is simply nonresponsive.
