Are the assets original too? The red tinted enemy gave me a chuckle.

Pretty impressive amount of stuff going on here. I know you started pretty late into the jam. This sort of game is my jam, so have a follow!

No unfortunately the assets are not original haha. I started very late to the game, so I got stuff from OpenGameArt making sure they were all free to use licenses :)

I suppose in its current state, it's a game about creating people from rocks. The sprites look good though!

While not really finished, I liked the look of it. Zooming in and out can also induce hallucinations... :D

haha yeah: that's probably due to the dirt textures. At some point I'll add more "decorations" to the dirt (i.e. random rocks, etc. and trees to the grass)

Keep in mind: this game is VERY much a prototype. Known bugs:

  • Placing factory too close to rocks could lead to pawns spawning inside and getting stuck.
    • Restart game and place factory farther from rocks
  • Pawns sometimes get "confused" after killing an enemy and will spin around in circles not doing anything
    • Your guess is as good as mine as to the solution. A whole pathfinding rework probably
  • Only pawn spawning works. The turrets and walls will be worked in after the Jam has been judged (time permitting)
  • No sound
    • Bummer.
