I'm InnocentLove the into/tutorial and both the music and graphics is also really good. For me the game was too difficult, but it is more my issue then the games issue. Overall a really good game. Well done.

Rail's basementFun boss rush to go through but I found the controls awkward to use and that made the precision jumping in the final fight to hard for me personally.

Just an Empty CliffUnder-rated gem! Corny dancing fires. Ok, so you didn't play the theme. Awareness around an important subject should make up for that. It is damn challenging also. I honestly cant get past level 3.

Shepherds DistressVery polished and enjoyable entry. The character controller is spot on. The modular jumps (first and second) feel like second nature and allow for great control on part of the player. The dash works too. I had a bit of trouble adapting to the controls, as I'm not used to Z and X, but once I got past this hurdle it was great.
This is obviously a mirror copy of Cuphead, but this is not a downside from my perspective at all. the atmosphere was funky, the music and art married each other very well. Controls responsive, bosses interesting and good and visual representing their attacks or idle poses. The difficulty curve was well designed as well.
Hands down one of the best entries in the jam.
I don't think you've hit the theme much, it's just a narrative gimmick, but that OK. You made an excellent and fun game, and that's what matters to me. Thank you.
