Amazing game idea!! Very Spore vibes!! I just had a little difficulty geting away from the enemy... Maybe could have a mechanic of sacrificing eggs to distract the enemy!?

This is a nice game with great visuals! I like the pixelated style!

Animations and juice are off the charts, great looking game.  Initially easy to understand, but not really sure how to win.  Gameplay loop seems like it needs an end.  Gave me Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet vibe.  But seriously, amazing looking game, you should consider fine tuning for a full release.

:3 I always try to add as much “juice” as I can to my games! Thanks for the feedback, I will likely make an updated version :)

The simplistic artstyle worked great with the procedural animation. The mood was great too, and I really do need to give you props for the sounscape. After 10-15 I got the feeling of "why am I playing this, what is the goal" which was a bit less good. However, the features in place and gameplay felt good, even if the game did feel a bit aimless. Good job!

Interestingly creepy :), however I lack of presence of the creatures. Ambiance is cool for an abyssal experience. might need some goal of high score to keep the motivation when no enemy in sight.

as others have said very atmospheric, and i like the design of the main monster. also i felt very attached to the little fish and was sad whenver they died
also what if all the little fish had slightly diffrent random designs, making each one of them more indvidual so when one of them dies it feels even more saddening.
also i feel like there should be a penalty for the left click ability, right now there is no reason NOT to use it, maybe it could drain food or something
