Love the back and forth of the characters in this. It definitely feels like a job-site in that everyone is bickering and quibbling.
I think the theme is clear here, but it also seems like Ferdinand's crew stumbled upon these consequences by accident rather than their actions. Sure, Ferdinand is clearly not a great project manager, but the impact of the consequences would be far grater if he had some idea that this was going to happened, but ignored the warning signs out of desperation or foolishness.
I loved these dwaves! You prose was well-constructed and it felt natural. While I understand the folks who said the end came suddenly, that's kind of how it goes in stories this short. :D
This was an enjoyable story. I thought the start was very strong and drew me into the setting, but the ending felt a little rushed
Nice read. Very understandable with good flow and clarity until the end. Just not clear on the last phrase.
Under appreciated faction, love to see more world building in the less favourite factions. The build up lasted a little long but it was still a fun reveal!
Great energy and a thrilling blend of tech and supernatural elements. The stakes felt real and the theme of consequences was well executed. Nice job capturing the tension and urgency!
Grate writing. Dwarf censorship is fraging amazing. XD
Remember, you can never dig to deep.
