Could not for the life of me figure out how to heep up with hygiene. Ran out of wash buckets early on.
You can research and build Bathhouses so your servants can clean themselves!
You can also keep buying buckets from the markets or cleaning them manually by using the Soap tool, it's up to the player.
I never saw the bathhouses or the buckets as avalable options. I kept looking for that exact thing. I tried the soap tool but it was not very effective.
I'm not seeing the bath-house research/build option either. Unless it's hidden until specific pre-requisites are met?
