Make a game before his fifth coffee wears off.
Jitters is a monkey who codes through the night. This weekend, you do too: 72 hours, one theme, one game.
The rules
- Starts Friday 6 November, 22:00 UTC. Ends Monday 9 November, 22:00 UTC. The theme is revealed at the start.
- Any engine, any language, any tool. AI tools are welcome: say on your game's page which parts they made. Games made by hand are just as welcome.
- Solo or a team. Make the game during the jam; your own earlier code, libraries and assets you have the right to use are fine.
- No other person's characters, art or music without their licence.
- The game is free to play on itch.io. A build that runs in the browser gets more players.
Voting
Entrants rate each other's games for a week, until Monday 16 November, 22:00 UTC, on Overall, Fun and Theme. The top three get a devlog post of their own on our page.
The optional kit
Want a tired monkey in your game? Jitters, the free sprite in 8 directions, is free to use in any game. The full 3D pack with every mood is here. Using him is never required.
Why this jam
Many jams turn away games made with AI. This one asks only that you say how you made it, and that you finish.
