Welcome to the Aristos Interactive Game Jam #7!

Theme

Fear the dark. Face the unknown. Something is waiting in the dark.

The theme for this jam is THE HORROR.

Whether it's lurking in an abandoned house, stalking the woods, creeping through the halls, or hiding in plain sight, horror is about the things that make us afraid. Build a story of dread, a desperate fight for survival, a disturbing mystery, or something that defies explanation.

You don't always need monsters. You don't always need blood. Sometimes the scariest thing is the pure unknown.

What horrors await?

Description

Step into the arena and bring an idea to life!

This beginner-friendly jam is all about creating a fun, playable game you’re proud to show off. Over the course of the weekend, challenge yourself to build a simple but engaging gameplay loop, something that feels good, something that exists because you made it.

All tools are welcome. AI assistance is welcome. Premade assets are welcome.

What matters most is finishing a playable experience and learning along the way.

At the end of the jam, we will play some of the game entries and upload a video to YouTube celebrating your hard work!

Fortes fortuna adiuvat.
