Good idea and well implemented, you have a magnet and can pull objects or yourself, use this to solve puzzles and get rid of ennemies.

Controls work well enought and the game is playable from start to end, the short tutorial was great to introduce us to a bit of story and how to use the magnet, great loop for 7 days.
What can be interacted with using the magnet is clear, wich makes playing the game easier.
Good job and good jam!

Thanks a lot for playing the game and providing your feedback. I got a lot of confidence after building this and having others play it. It definitely took time to build it but it was worth all the effort.

this game is awesome I didn't expect to play something like this honestly with a little bit of polish it would be truly a unique game the beginning of the game had me a bit confused since the dialogue box stayed on the screen throughout the entire level but its fine... you made a cool and I liked it alot thanks alot for making it :)

Thanks a lot for playing it. It was the first game I actually exported(and finished a level of). I saw the issue with the box in the first level after exporting but since I had to leave for work and the jam was ending I didn't had the time to debug and fix it, but thankfully I am glad I published it, its a great feeling getting my game played by other people and getting honest opinions.

for a first game it looks and feels awesome all of us struggle with UI sometimes my first game was the same but instead of a dialogue box it was the game over screen constantly being in the background lmao and yeah when someone plays your game and talks about there's this weird sense of satisfaction and motivation to improve... you did a great job well done and congrats on uploading your first game!

Thanks for the motivation, I hope to make a game with a style as consistent as Trial Of Ingenium, I really loved the aesthetic and visual consistency.

Solid idea that could be a pretty cool puzzle game or movement game

Developer

Thanks for giving it a try, its the first game I actually completed(somewhat).

The magnet mechanic is really cool although it does need a bit of work to make it feel a bit better. That being said
i really liked the magnetic tether mechanic.

I feel like this would have been really cool if u could tether around a maze and not touch the floor or else you die.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, yes you are right the magnet mechanic isn't that polished and the level designs also aren't that well thought-out due to limited time I had juggling between Job, College and this game.
