Really cool game, I think I saw some videos of the development in Discord, during the submissions phase of the jam, I'm glad I had the chance to play before the rating period end. It's a good platformer with some combat element, you made a good job, the tutorial is simple to understand and the level design is really good. I had an impression that I couldn't aim 100%, is that right? I mean, I think the character can aim in just a specific number of directions? And also I got glitched after many levels, and I tried to press Esc to restart the level but the game instantly closed and I lost all my progress. Well, other than that, is a really cool entry for the jam, congrats for your game. Ah, in case you're planning an update after the rating period, the glitch was in that level you put a barrier that only could be passed while sliding. If I slide but not go to the other side, I got stucked in the wall and started to fly, stucked and I couldn't die cause the arrows of the enemies don't pass through the wall, so I could do nothing but watch my character fly lol.

This game was way too difficult for me to progress far. But what levels i completed i really liked how important positioning was, which created an interesting puzzle mechanic, since the shooting is snapped to specific angles. The art is nice too, it's clear to read with all the moving projectiles.

I only was confused why the cookies make a coin sound

Developer(+1)

the biscuits made coin sounds because theyre actually very well disguised coins

because someone would steal coins from a dungeon

but nobody would steal biscuits from a dungeon (very important lore)

I was having difficulties with the third level. Those spikes at the start with the cookies right on top was brutal. I wanted them so bad. The art looks very nice. Good job!

It's still a bit hard but it was great seeing the improvements you did, it's a fun experience now

I liked the art! I could only shoot to the left which made it very difficult. After a few rounds i just ran past the two enemy and killed them from behind. but then i couldn't shoot the bulb because i could only shoot left.

Nice! What engine did you use?

Developer

I used clickteam fusion 2.5!

Submitted(+1)

Dang! Nice dude! I used Clickteam for about 3 years before switching to godot because Clickteam’s a little outdated, and when I played this I was like “This feels like a Clickteam game.” That’s sick! How long have you been using it?

Developer(+1)

I've been using clickteam for 2 months, but im considering switching over to godot (or going back to unity)

Submitted(+1)

Nice! Godot is a great option. And you’re pretty good at Clickteam! Keep up the good work, you’re doing great.

It's a fun concept but it's unclear at first how to open the door, and i think the stone trap biscuit has to be reworked so its more clear to the player that it's a trap and maybe add some kind of dodge or indicator that an arrow is incoming, because oftentimes an arrow gets shot from an enemy outside the screen and you don't have time to react to it, also maybe add a little charg up thingy for the enemies for the player to indicate when they will shoot. But very fun

Thanks for feedback, working on it!
