How does the game fit the theme?
You don't trust people to sell expired supplements so you make homunculus to sell them, but even the homunculus will betray you...

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The homunculus character sprite was copied from a site that is linked on my game's page

Really cute but macabre styling and a fun loop!

A really cool concept! It took me a few resets to understand how it works, but once I got the hang of it I found it pretty enjoyable :)

(don’t mind the comment hiccup i had network trouble)

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I thought it might be a little bit boring in its current form, but I'm happy that it was somewhat fun lol. Thanks for playing it!

summoning your own staff so you dont have to trust employees, then finding out they turn on you too, thats a properly funny read of the theme. the pentagram doubling as the shop where you bask to buy upgrades is a nice bit of design. employees expiring on a timer is the bit id build the whole game around

I'm glad you liked my take on the theme! I orginally had a different area for the shop that was just a table with a bunch of drugs on it lol, but then I realized that it would make more sense to use the pentagram I had already made. Thanks for playing!!
