How does the game fit the theme?
It is about surviving while having distrust as a constant threat.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I didn't make any of the graphics or sounds; the Soldier, Monster, turret, and gun I made using AI and the lamp from the asset store.
Also, I worked on the group soldier mechanic and light mechanic in another jam before, and I took the prototype and worked on it some more in this jam, plus added the betrayal mechanics from scratch.

Great job! it took me two rounds to understand how the game works as the instructions text was way too long in my opinion so maybe if you shorten it next time, it will encourage people to actually read it! :D all in all i htink the game has some real potential so if you're interested you could add some more levels to it! well done. if you want to, you can rate my game as well :) https://tsarahq.itch.io/the-village-mystery-for-game-jam

Thank you so much for the kind words. And I felt the instructions were too long, but there was no time to create some text-by-image slides to make it easier for the player, and every point is really crucial. I am open to suggestions, though :) Thanks again, and I will surely check your game :)
