📜 The rules
- Make something new. Build a new plugin for RPG Maker MZ or MV, started on or after Nov 9. Your own utility code and third-party libraries are fine.
- Any team size. Solo devs and teams are both welcome.
- Free and playable. Your entry must be free to download during the jam and include a playable demo project. A browser build is best.
- Documented. Include setup instructions and plugin parameter help.
- Licensed. Pick a license in the submission form. Open-source licenses are encouraged.
- AI is welcome, honestly. AI-assisted code, art, text and audio are all allowed. Disclose it in your project's AI disclosure and the AI usage field. AI-assisted and hand-made entries are rated the same way.
- The Idea Box. The Idea Box field is private to the host, who may build plugins inspired by ideas shared there. Your code and assets stay yours under the license you choose.
- Keep it clean. No NSFW content, no stolen code or art, and nothing that breaks itch.io rules.

Entrants rate each other from 1 to 5 stars on four criteria:
- 🛠️ Usefulness: would lots of RPG Maker projects actually use it?
- 🎛️ Ease of use: clear setup, sensible parameters, good help text
- ✨ Polish & stability: works as described and plays nicely with other plugins
- 💡 Originality: does something existing plugins don't
💬 Pro tip: when you comment on other entries, itch.io links your own submission under your comment. Rate and comment generously and more people will find your plugin.

🔌 How to submit
- Join the jam with the button above.
- Create your project page on itch.io, classified as a Tool (or Asset). Upload your .js file, your demo project and a few screenshots or a GIF.
- Click Submit on this page before the deadline and fill in the form. Don't skip the Idea Box!
💡 Tip: a browser-playable demo and a short GIF get far more ratings than a download-only page.

Can I reuse code I already wrote?
Your own helper code and third-party libraries are fine. The plugin itself must be new.
MZ or MV?
Either one, or both.
Can I use AI tools?
Yes. Just disclose it honestly.
Can I sell my plugin afterwards?
Yes. It only has to be free during the jam. After voting ends, it's yours to update, keep free or sell.
I've never made a plugin. Can I still join?
Absolutely. Small, useful plugins often score best. Ask for help in the Community tab.
