Welcome to the Dullajam, where we basically make Dullahan games.
If you don't know what a Dullahan is, it's simply a being that can detach its head... and that's it.
If you want to get a clearer idea, here is an example:

Basically, you have to make a game that includes a character capable of doing the same thing as in the example, and that's it.
-Your game MUST feature a Dullahan; the implementation doesn't matter, but a Dullahan must be present for the entry to be valid.
-I’ll be lenient regarding games started before the jam, BUT they MUST feature a character who can remove their head.
-DO NOT USE AI!!!
-Offensive or sexually explicit games are not allowed.
-You may include gore if you wish, BUT you must include a content warning in your game.
-You can participate in multiple jams (unless the other jam's rules say otherwise), provided you include a Dullahan.
-It is recommended that the game runs in a browser; while downloadable games are allowed, browser-based games are more accessible.
-Does the character have to be a headless horseman, or can I vary the concept?
You don't have to limit yourself to that; it could be a zombie that loses its head or an ordinary person who loses theirs—the only limit is your imagination.
-Do I have to use a specific engine?
You can use whatever engine you like, or even make it without one. However, the game must at least be playable.
-What if I don't have time to finish it?
Don't worry; just mention it in the community section and I'll extend the deadline, though I advise against making the game too complex.
-Is there no competition aspect to this jam?
Not for now, though if you're interested in competing, a competitive version will be held later with stricter rules and specific themes.
