This Week's Theme is: Anything Goes
Gameotron Game Jam is a game jam with a different focus: you do not primarily make the game yourself - you use, adapt, and improve GAMEOTRON, the AI-powered bot that creates the game, and its artifacts.

Your challenge is to guide GAMEOTRON to create a playable concept.
Ideas are cheap. Playable concepts create value.
Use GAMEOTRON to transform the official jam theme into a playable browser-game concept.
You can start with the base orchestrator, provide a theme override, refine the workflow through prompts and configuration. The main outcome is a game produced through the GAMEOTRON pipeline—not a game built manually from scratch.
A valid entry should demonstrate both:
The aim is not only to make an entertaining prototype. It is to explore how AI agents can reliably guide a game from idea to working browser experience.
GAMEOTRON produces a self-contained browser game as a single index.html file.
Every generated game is designed to meet these baseline requirements:
This makes the final game easy to share, test, upload, and play in a modern browser.
A foundational version of GAMEOTRON is already available. You can run it as-is in OpenCode, use it with the official theme, or pass your own theme directly to the orchestrator.
Human direction is part of the intended workflow. In particular, GAMEOTRON includes a mandatory approval gate during ideation: after concepts are generated and reviewed, the user chooses the concept before development continues.
Gameotron Game Jam is both a game jam and an open-source experiment in AI-assisted game development. If you modify or improve GAMEOTRON itself, then please share those improvements and insights you’ve gained on GitHub. e.g. publish a documented fork.
Where available, participants are encouraged to share generated GAMEOTRON outputs as well:
These artifacts make an entry easier to understand, evaluate, reproduce, and improve.
use @gameotron.
GAMEOTRON is designed around a simple belief: a game idea becomes valuable when it becomes playable.
In this jam, you will not just make a game. You will work on the toolchain that imagines, evaluates, designs, builds, tests, fixes, polishes, and prepares that game for release.
Run Gameotron. Choose a concept. Improve the pipeline. Share the and insights you’ve gained.
Let GAMEOTRON be your partner to turn the theme into a playable game.
