Welcome to the first Hand Crafted Jam, a Game Jam all about Human Made Games because Human Made art rules and we should celebrate that instead of celebrating certain other things like certain other Jams that may or may not be on at the same time as this one.
This is a week long game jam, absolutely no Generative AI or LLM usage is allowed, except the normal game AI kind, you know, the original AI, with pathfinding and such.
All entries must be created between the start time and end time of the Jam.
You may use any game engine you like or roll your own.
If you wish you can also make a physical board game type thing! not sure how well those will go in voting but it is all about fun :)
Assemble a team or go solo, this is a laid back jam where the goal is to make something cool, there will be a theme announced on the day the jam starts.
Once the Jam has ended there will be a public voting period and there will be prizes!
Free Assets For Participants
Madyan Studios is providing a mystery pack on FAB free for all participants of the Jam which will be announced once the theme is revealed!

Continue? Magazine is a defiant, new Australian print magazine designed to explore, celebrate and examine videogames and the different ways they impact broader culture and is comfortable celebrating videogames through beautifully illustrated feature stories, but secure enough to critique how they’re made via robust reporting and long form narrative nonfiction. They don't do traditional reviews or explainers and you won't find much in the way of industry news. The focus is on story.
