Make a game worth replaying for a better score. Nine days, any engine, solo or team. The theme drops when the jam starts.
Your game keeps score, and there's a reason to beat it. Add a real online leaderboard and you're in the running for the host's pick.

Overall, top three:
Host's pick, one game with an online leaderboard: 6 months of ScoreKit Indie, plus a pack of your choice.
Prizes go to the entry, so a team shares one. Win more than one and your Indie months add up. Redeem by May 7, 2027. The months start when you redeem.
Leave a contact in the "Contact for prizes" field when you submit. Only I can see it.
Everyone who submits can rate, teammates included. Entries get rated on Overall, Fun and "One more try". I choose the host's pick myself. Your game needs a real online leaderboard to be picked, so say it has one in your project description.
ScoreKit has a free tier and a Unity SDK. Use it, use something else, or roll your own: https://www.scorekit.dev/
Step by step, with the jam code for more calls: add an online leaderboard to your game.
Pause Anything (a Unity pause tool) and the Space Backgrounds Sampler are free on our itch page. Any assets are fine as long as you credit them.
