Indie Jam

A relaxed, creativity‑first game jam focused on making something small, fun, and personal. Whether you’re experimenting with a new engine, trying out a weird mechanic, or just making your first game, this jam is meant to give you space to create without pressure.

📝 Theme (will be announced on the discord https://discord.gg/Fd4MU4a7D)

The theme can be interpreted however you like. You’re encouraged to think creatively, twist the idea, or take it in an unexpected direction.

🎮 Basic Rules

  • Make a game that fits the theme.
  • You can work solo or in a team.
  • Any engine or tool is allowed except AI‑generated content (see below).
  • You may start brainstorming early, but all final game content must be created during the jam period.
  • Reusing your own code snippets, libraries, or frameworks is allowed.
  • Keep your submission appropriate for all audiences.
  • Be kind and respectful to other participants.

🚫 No AI Content Rule

To keep the jam focused on human creativity:

  • No AI‑generated art, sprites, textures, models, music, sound effects, writing, or code.
  • AI tools may not be used to generate assets, story content, or gameplay logic.
  • You may use AI for non‑creative tasks like project organization or debugging explanations, but nothing produced by AI can appear in the final game.

🗳️ Voting Criteria

Participants will vote based on:

  • Creativity – How original or interesting the idea is.
  • Fun – How enjoyable the experience feels.
  • Theme Use – How well the game incorporates the theme.
  • Presentation – Visuals, audio, and overall polish.

📦 Submission Requirements

  • Include a playable build for Windows, Web, or another platform.
  • Add screenshots and a short description of your game.
  • Credit all team members and any external resources you used.
  • If your game requires special instructions, include them clearly.
