Wow this game is so polished! It is very satisfying merging those cards, I think I kept doing it for maybe 10 minutes and got to around 34 species. You've chosen a quite specific slice of a game and done it very well. Very slick :)

Thanks Ray ! Ahaha looks like my balancing are quite off here, i plan for any player to reach 40 - 50 in the first 10 minutes :"
Anyway, yeah i try to focus more on an aspect that aligns with the theme and pre-req on this one, hope you had a good time playing the game ! :D

so it is just collect no battle?

Developer

Y..yeah, unfortunately :" . I did initially plan for it, but i decided to focus on the merge and evolution part for this jam. I'd be happy to expand this later on if many demands it :)

I admit I spent 15 minutes unlocking cards, hahaha. I like the monsters, they're super cute, but as a Pokémon fan... if you could battle with them, oof, that would be a great addition. Still, I like the game

Developer

Hey thank you for playing the game !!
Yeah i got lucky i stumbled upon such a great asset on itch. I did plan that initially, along with feeding and everything, but after careful consideration i think it'll be best to max out the collection and evolution aspect for this version. I agree it would be very cool to haveat least 1 battle :" but alas, time says otherwise.

Again, thanks for playing ! Hope you had a good time :D

Developer

Ahaha thanks ! I think i got lucky because i stumbled upon a good asset and then inspiration of cool fx sequences and simple ideas just poured in right after out of nowhere.

Hope you had a good, relaxing and satisfying time playing the game :D
