  • I enjoyed moving around as a goblin a lot more than I ever did trying to solve Minesweeper, so right from the beginning the game's off to a good start! The art style is fun and the color pallet really makes me think of old retro games. The audio is fun and upbeat. Overall the game has a very "fun at the beach" vibe to it. My one issue with the audio is that it can get somewhat repetitive since it restarts the track every time you die. So if you suck at minesweeper like I do, you die a lot in a short period of time and only get to hear the first bit of the track. The number hints kept up with the characters speed. Even when being risky and moving multiple squares at once the hints updated accurately for the final space. Really fun take on a classic logic experience. Nice job!

Summarize your game!
This is my take on MineSweeper, with procedurally generated levels as a highscore game that it was. The twist is; player has the mine ON them and there is ONLY ONE mine in the game. but beware of the invisible detonators to keep your goblin alive!

Please explain how your game fits the theme.
There is only one mine and thats located on the player. player shall try to get away from invisible mine detonators.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
i know it has a lot of polishing to do but im tired as a solo.

Interesting but simple concept! I think if a way to flag/track roadtiles you identify as mines like in minesweeper would be a great addition.

Thank you :) That's actually a great idea, never thought of that
