Very cool! The graphics and animation are beautiful and the music is great. The controls feel a bit imprecise and I think I would have made it further if they were tighter. I didn't make it past the diamond enemy to know if there are others but some variety would have been fun. Nice job!

Neat concept of making the only focus on swapping but with 2 hands,  definitely felt more challenging than I initially thought it would be. I agree with some of the sentiment about the cranking, it juts feels a little bit finicky and clunky at times. The scaling felt pretty good, and I enjoyed the transition screens. I think the power meter is a really cool addition and clever use of the underutilized accelerometer. Despite it taking very little time and effort to deal with, the anticipation of it running out adds so much tension the whole way. Some of the audio felt a bit too harsh and distracted from the game in my opinion.

Cool submission and impressively polished visuals for a jam!

Really polished game with exciting effects.  Managed to used every control that the console has :)

Really cool  game, with beautiful art, fx, animations and mechanics.
I agree about the amount of cranking needed as well, gets tricky fast.

I found this game incredibly nostalgic in all the right ways.
Great use of console + theme. Enjoyed frantically switching to the correct weapon in time to maximize protection/damage.

Agree with Snooty on the cranking comment

Thank you very much!

Unique concept! It's a dual rock-paper-scissors fps? It's simple but pretty intense,  and the challenge ramps up nicely. The visual design is great. I'm not sure what I'm killing, but it looks like it deserves it. It took a couple of deaths for me to notice the health bar - but I like that it's part of your character instead of the HUD.

My main issue is that the amount of cranking to switch weapons didn't seem consistent. Sometimes it seemed like a quarter turn would do it, other times a full revolution.

Hey snootyjerk! Thanks so much for the kind words. I also felt like the weapon switching wasn’t consistent, but I thought, “Well, maybe I’m just tired or crazy, or both.” 😅

If I had to guess, I think the problem happens because the crank doesn't reset to a "neutral" point if you over-crank when switching.
Like, let's say it 100 ticks of the crank to switch the weapon, and the player inputs 150 ticks going clockwise. So they switch the weapon, then go 50 ticks to switching to the next one. If they switch clockwise again, it would only take 50 ticks. But if they wanted to go counterclockwise, they'd have to go 50 ticks to get back to neutral, then another 100 to actually switch.  To fix that, you could set a timer to reset the ticks if the player hasn't moved the crank in a second or so.

Not sure if that's actually what's going on, of course :D
