IMPORTANT: I have gathered some very useful and small in size 3D assets to build your game with. If you opt to find additional assets please take care of how large they are before using them. For reference the little robot is only 800KB in size and the blocks 350KB in size. It is very easy for online 3D resources to easily be 10+MB in size causing your game to be too large to have a web playable mode. It is perfectly fine to just use the built in Godot shapes and wrap some 2D images around them for this project.
For this game project you create a 3D video game in a group of 3 to 4 in about 2 weeks. The game can be based off one of the existing games or a brand new design. Your finished game must contain the following:
Because of limits on art assets and moving into 3D space this game may not look as polished as the one from Project 2. That is not an issue, but you should still have an overall plan for the game that gives it purpose, even if all the game consists of are some Godot Spheres and Cubes.
For the Readme file you need a description of the game you are building. You need to follow the Project Management approached reviewed in Week 2 and Godot Project Organization and Naming reviewed in Week 3. Remember to make me a member of the project as either a Developer or Maintainer. Lastly, you will be implementing tests for this game and there should be a number of test scenes organized under a folder called "_tests". You will Demo some of these test scenes during Demo day.
