Restless Dreams Game Jam
Get ready! Restless Dreams Software invites all developers to our second Game Jam. Create an immersive, creative, and fun game within the timeframe and show what you can do!
Theme
The theme is secret and will be revealed exclusively at the start of the Jam! Keep an eye on the countdown to find out as soon as it begins.
Goal
Create a complete game using any engine or framework of your choice, following the theme that will be revealed. The goal is to develop the best possible gameplay, mechanics, and atmosphere within the time limit. Submit your creation directly on itch.io to compete!
Rules & Requirements
- Timeframe: Development must take place entirely during the jam period.
- Use of Artificial Intelligence: The use of generative AI <ins>may compromise your game's final score</ins>. If you use any AI tools, you must state exactly what was used at the time of submission.
- Engine/Tools: Free choice of game engines, art tools, and audio tools.
- Content: The game must fully comply with itch.io's Quality Guidelines and Terms of Service. You must respect third-party copyrights, properly mark sensitive content, and ensure submitted files are free of malware.
Submission & Judging Criteria
- How Judging Works: Initial voting will be public/community-based, but the final result and winners will be decided by the members of Restless Dreams Software.
- Transparency: Detailed scores given by the judges will be publicly released at the end of the jam.
- YouTube Showcase: All properly submitted participating games will feature in a special video on the Restless Dreams YouTube channel!
Prizes
1st Place: R$ 50.00 cash prize for the winning game, along with top spotlight on the studio's social media and YouTube channel. (Note: The cash prize will only be awarded if the jam reaches more than 20 participants/submissions).
