Nice job. Having a cooldown timer or icon to let us know how long before we can set another mine would be very useful on this game. Also, a whistle to attract enemies around corners without having to walk out would also be sweet, preferably with a longer cooldown than the mine :)

Simple, but challening. The mines would be more useful if the bad guys walked around without needing to have line of sight on the player.
