Welcome to the GameDev Insiders Second Chance Jam
You already started it. Now finish it.
This jam is all about going back to an old game jam project and bringing it across the finish line. No new ideas. No new scope. Just polish, clarity, and execution.
Tiny games teach you how to finish. This jam teaches you how to refine.
Our goal is simple: remove the uncertainty of “what if” and turn your half-finished idea into something real, playable, and worth continuing.
What this jam is about
- Return to an old jam project you believe in.
- Polish the core loop until it feels complete.
- Cut the extra. Focus on what actually matters.
- Share progress, get feedback, and improve fast.
Schedule
- Jam start: April 10, 2026
- Submission deadline: April 19, 2026
- Feedback period: April 19 – April 24, 2026
You can join late and still submit, as long as your build is in before the deadline.

Feedback & Rating
This is about honest feedback and helping each other improve.
You’ll rate games based on:
- Would You Play This? – Is it something you'd come back to?
- Polish – Does it feel finished and intentional?
- Improvement– How much it was improved by.
Give real feedback and try to leave comments. That’s where the value is.
Discord & Community
- Share clips, screenshots, and builds.
- Ask for feedback early (don’t wait until the end).
- Help others improve their games, too.
