really enjoyed the concept, the loop kept me engaged longer than i expected. the progression feels rewarding and it all ties into the theme really well. great work overall

Developer

thank you very very much for trying out the game. I tried to balance it as much as I could in the limited time

I always intrigued by games that don't use regular game engines in jams.
Loved the pixel art, nice drawings. Also it can be one of the best theme interpretations in the jam.

Great jam game overall, nice job.

Sadly I couldn't play it either on this machine. I'll see if I can get java installed on my laptop tomorrow and give it a whirl.

Very solid game, matches the theme perfectly, I really love the visuals and the sound design. The balancing of the game (very important since it is an incremental game) is great considering the time deadline (my balancing is pretty bad).

To my mind the only missing thing is to have an ui that tells player you need to put items in the trash before selling them, but that’s minor issue.

Had a really fun time playing it, I unlocked the black hole so it can be done !!! The music theme also is fire

Aww man I don't have Java 21 so I can't play it! It looks interesting though!

Very solid experience considering the timeframe. Artstyle has great potential and the creator is obviously very skilled in the department of coding and art design.

Art: 7.5/10 (cool crt effects, custom cursor and pixel art... awesome amount of good and great pixel art considering the time frame)

Music: 6.5/10 (not awesome, but not awful either... of course, one person can't excel at every field instantly... goated menu music tho)

Gameplay: 7/10 (sound effects feel very plesant, and cool way to use the concept "everything has a costcost" through ridiculous objects like a black hole... replayability is fine... not too addictive though... some ui elements feel a bit unpolished, but again, considering the time frame, this is fine... however the user doesn't really get introduced to the goal of the game which could be confusing)

Playability: 10/10 very easy to run, no stutters (lack of complete wide/ultrawide monitor support, which is, again, not an issue for this type of project)
