Pack your sunscreen, grab your favorite cold drink, and fire up your game engine of choice... The Summer Time Game Jam is here!!! This jam is all about capturing the feeling of summer: the joy, the chaos, the heat, the freedom, the nostalgia… and maybe even the bugs 🐞 (both the cute and the software kind).

🌞 The Theme: “Summer Time”

Summer means different things to different people — and that’s exactly the point.

Your game can be:

• Chill and cozy 🍹

• Fast, loud, and energetic ⚡

• Nostalgic and emotional 🌅

• Ridiculous and chaotic 🏖️

• Or something totally unexpected 🌈

Interpret the theme however you want!
Beach days, road trips, summer jobs, festivals, bugs, heatwaves, boredom, freedom, late nights, childhood memories, everything's all fair game.

• Make a game during the jam period

• Any engine, any tools, any genre

• Solo or team, both are welcome

• Pre-made assets are allowed unless stated otherwise, but be honest

• Your game must relate to Summer Time

• Unique ideas or clever twists

• Interesting interpretations of the theme(s)

• Bold, weird, or surprising concepts

• How well the idea comes together

• Controls, polish, clarity, and overall design

• Does the game work?

🎉 Fun

• Is it enjoyable to play?

• Does it evoke a feeling (joy, chaos, relaxation, tension, laughter)?

• Would you want to show it to a friend?

📦 Submission Guidelines

• Submit a playable build (browser, download, etc.)

• Include a short description of your game

• Mention how you interpreted the theme(s)

• Screenshots and GIFs highly encouraged 📸✨

• A strong first impression

• A memorable title
