Design Statement
When I first heard the theme track, it felt like rising and flying, but only after something heavy is set down. I read it as the moment you finally let go.
I made this game for my best friend. We used to play video games every day. So the game is about walking beside someone, and then learning to walk on without them.
design choices:
I intentionally removed all the words.
I tried to make the game control consistent so you may feel bond with the blue.
The final โxโ should be the climax of the game.
The theme track is used unmodified. When you let go, the music lifts you up into the dawn.
The backgrounds come from my own photos of Finnish forests. I turned them into silhouettes.

GAMEPLAY
A short, wordless journey with a small light beside you. Set it on stones to swing across gaps, then pull it back over to you. A prologue and three acts, about 10โ15 minutes. No enemies and no game over: if you fall, you return to where you last stood. Best with headphones, in one sitting.

Did your project use any AI tools or assets? If yes, please specify.
Yes, AI tools only, no AI assets. I used Claude (Anthropic) as a coding assistant: it wrote most of the GDScript and shaders following my design, and helped me brainstorm and write documentation. All art (backgrounds from my own photos of Finnish forests, hand-drawn control hints) and all audio (music and sound effects by Sicheng Chen, jam theme by Jason Grace) were made by people. No AI-generated images or audio are in the game.
