Design Statement
When I hear the music, it makes me think of a twisted but happy ending. In my game the lore is about a kid that dies (therefore you being a corpse) and ascending, in the final level you jump into the fire and cleanse your sins. My key design choices were mostly based on Celeste, I finished it (peak game btw) and opened Youtube for a break, then I watched a youtuber programming a game for a jam, so I found this one and tried to make my first game, resuming: A plataformer because of Celeste. If you can count the ending as a happy ending do, but you do you. (note: im an atheist so please tell me if I got the sins part wrong, my first game ever made :D. Made in Godot. Please leave some feedback, thanks!)

I'm stuck at the first big gap and can't jump across it. Even the jump-dash combo doesn't work, orz... Is there any trick to clearing it?

While clearly reads as someones first game, its a complete game in that it has a ending, and knowing its all made by a human made me enjoy all of its rougness in a strange way haha. I think I liked the music most because I also had tried to make some retro music a while ago and I think it sounds similar to my attempts.
I couldn't finish the game though, died so many times on flamey level (lv 3 I think) that it started feeling like a rage game so I gave up lol.
