All I can honestly say is that the game was entirely vibecoded, yikes...

Design Statement
The theme felt mysterious and inspiring to me, like an invitation to move toward something just beyond view. I wanted to turn that feeling into a small journey where curiosity, rather than danger, carries the player forward.
The Last Light begins with one fragile light in a quiet world. The player uses it to reveal one bridge at a time, crosses, and then retrieves it from the other side. That simple choice gives each step a sense of discovery: the light opens a way forward, but the bridge fades when it is taken back.
I chose floating islands, a soft night sky, and minimal text to leave room for imagination. Three short chapters gradually add branching paths, and collecting the scattered lights leads to a hopeful ending at the lighthouse. The short synthesized tones respond to the player’s actions; the original theme track is not included.
Game Instructions (launch steps, controls, and gameplay overview)
Press Run game, then Begin the journey. Use a mouse or touch: select a neighboring island to light a bridge, cross it by selecting the island or the crossing button, and reclaim the light from either end. Collect every little light in each chapter and reach the exit carrying the light. Use Restart chapter to start the current chapter again; sound is optional.

Did your project use any AI tools or assets? If yes, please specify.
Yes. OpenAI Codex assisted with the game concept, English text, code, and visual design. The sky background was generated using OpenAI’s image generator. The short sound effects are synthesized in the browser. The official theme track is not included in the game.
