Design Statement
I listened to the track with my eyes closed and pictured an island floating above the clouds. There were trees with sunlight coming through them, bushes, mushrooms, and a witch making potions in the middle of it all.
The music was calm and warm, so I made a slow, relaxed game. It is first-person so you can stand in that island yourself. Nothing can kill you or make you lose. You collect herbs, berries, ore and mushrooms, brew potions in the cauldron, and give them to the people who ask for them. The portal and the market give you something to work toward.
Most of my time went into making it look the way I imagined: the godrays, the clouds, the tall grass and the floating islands. I built it on my own engine, Eksiem, and it runs in the browser and on Windows.
