Design Statement
Insomnia Park explores the tension between the pressures of adulthood and the freedom of childhood imagination. After another exhausting day, a sleepless young woman slips into a dream and becomes a child again. Familiar playground activities become a journey through her restless mind: counting sheep, learning to fly, riding colorful elephant slides, and solving hopscotch puzzles.

Each stage turns an emotional experience into a playable idea. Work messages interrupt the dream, sleepless thoughts become a pursuing fog, and anger, happiness, and sadness change how the girl moves. When the world loses its colors, she must patiently find a way to bring them back.

Through this dreamlike adventure, the game asks what growing up makes us leave behind. Its central theme is reconnecting with curiosity, accepting different emotions, and finding the courage to face everyday life with a little more gentleness toward ourselves.

1. Getting Started
1. Extract InsomniaPark-Windows-x64.zip and double-click InsomniaPark.exe to launch the game (Windows 64-bit; no installation required).
2. Press Space on the title screen to start. The opening comic plays before the first level. Completing a level automatically advances you to the next.
3. Press F11 to toggle fullscreen, M to mute, and Esc to open the pause menu (Resume / Settings / Return to Title).
