Welcome to The Nightmare Game Jam a game jam all about making horror games.

This jam is made especially for beginners. That means if you've never finished a game before, if you're worried your idea isn't good enough, or if this is the very first game you've ever submitted anywhere this jam is for you. There's no judgment here and no minimum skill level required. The goal is simply to have fun making something scary and finishing it.

The Nightmare Game Jam theme is : Limited senses.

   1. Built during the jam your core game must be created within the jam period. Pre-existing code libraries.

   2. Any engine, any tool  GameMaker, Godot, Unity, Unreal..., whatever you work with. 

   3. Any art style pixel art, 3D, photos, no visuals at all. Fear has no dress code.

   4. Keep it appropriate no explicit sexual content, excessive gore and no  hateful language or visuals.

   5. Be kind this jam exists to encourage new developers. Give feedback the way you'd want to receive it.

   The Nightmare Jam Community voting will consider three voting criteria:

• Atmosphere
• Creativity
• Enjoyment

Note

If this is your first jam breathe. You don't need a finished game, you need only  something playable, the main thing is to make your own game and have fun doing it.
