I love the atmosphere of the game! The hand-drawn pixel art is really well done, as is the music! I’ve replayed it several times just for that atmosphere! The monsters’ behaviour could perhaps be improved a little. I often found myself surrounded with no way of escaping, but that might just be because I’m not good enough at it.

It’s a really good game! Well done !

Oh I waited really long to reply sorry.

Thanks! Your point on the behavior is entirely valid, not really a matter of skill, I can only get around two minutes consistently and I made the thing. It's not just the worms, but it's mostly the worms. I was considering for a little bit whether I should add some sort of way to repel the enemies, or pass through them without damage, but I couldn't figure out how I would make the worms react appropriately and I wasn't quite sure if a dash of some kind would be hard to gauge with the whole "relegated to one circle for movement" thing. I copped and resorted to hitbox gore (the worms last segment doesn't actually have collision).

Nice concept, I love the music in worm mode, pretty difficult, and that's about all there is to say for me. I liked it, it was sweet and simple.

Only thing I'd recommend for future games, and that is a bit of a personal issue not a game design issue, is to avoid using Z/X controls if you can expect the game to be played by an international audience, because keyboard layouts are not all the same, and German keyboards have z and y swapped to English ones so I always have to try out how it was implemented and if I actually have to press Z or Y and it's rarely in the comfortable spot next to X -v- I've encountered this issue in so many games already, just a personal gripe...

Developer

Right, thank you, I'll keep that in mind.

I personally really like how it's laid out on an English keyboard, so I might consider either adding an option to remap keys or find out if there's a way to use the physical location of the key instead.

Thanks for the input!
