Loved the bee sprites!
Okay, THIS is the sort of thing I love in a short game of this type. A creative idea, all new cool assets, and some charming dialogue to go with it. Love the "cool bee facts", including the one that most bees don't own a red carpet. The game builds a lot of expectation into getting to do your one solitary job through the spiral level design. Great job!
It's very simple, but innovative!
The puns, actual facts, and references are amazing! I had a bee-last playing this! The queen bee spite being made of a mix of an NPC and tileset is a really creative idea! I REALLY like it!!! This one has to be my favorite game for this game jam! The little bee sprites are so damn cute!!!!!
It also reminded me of this song I like called "It's Hip to F*ck Bees"(explicit lyrics lol) I love the reference to the Bee movie! I was SO hoping the game would have one! I'm glad you added it AND also kept it from being super long/to many chat boxes to go through the Bee movie intro!
