One of my favourite itch.io games I've played, holy shit! I loved that it's a fishing game with mechanics I've never fished with before! It was fun trying to get them to run into my net and then getting rewarded with more net! I played until I could comfortably lap the entire pond, it was that good. I liked that the arc of the game went from not having enough net to having so much it was more about paying attention to where I started and navigating back there by the end. Good, good stuff!! (the extra money I gave when buying Textreme 2 was for this btw!)

Sadly, you can really feel the Alpha state of it and five years later I doubt it gets much more to it. The idea is neat but the interface is a bit hostile, no settings for the very loud music, and not much to the gameplay loop.

Unrelated to the quality, I wonder if this was inspired by Hypnospace Outlaw? It has some similar energy.

fun, cute and challenging in the right ways

I like the idea of it and the cat is cute, but have two issues. First, I can't save and return later. Second, the console and map are small and hard to read (especially the map) relative to the screen. I had to quit playing because I had to strain my eyes too much to read it.
