I really like the idea and playing was also fun. It was really satisfying to put a random number and then to get it right on the second try just by looking at the bar of the first guess. I did get stuck on the third level, at first I thought it was bugged, but when I revisited I just tried more numbers until I got it, but this level was more frustrating than rewarding. It was a good idea to have one negative level, it was just not clear to me at first when I was getting an overvoltage or an undervoltage here, so I put the lowest possible number and still thought I got an overvoltage, because it looked like the bar was fully filled up. But you did a seriously great job combining the 3 game jam themes and the gameplay was really creative.  I enjoyed playing and beating it, and I was impressed with the amount of polish.  Great work!

Wow, that's a very generous comment! I couldn't agree more with the 3rd puzzle, it was a bit of a letdown that I couldn't figure the bar out properly, really unfortunate that I couldn't get it to work. I've fixed it now, unfortunately the jams are over now though lol!

Thank you so so much! It was a real challenge and I'm disappointed there was some key things I missed, but comments like this are so lovely. Thank you x

Hi what are supposed to do it asks for 20 and I can pick 3 numbers but there are no combinations that equal 20?

Developer

Okay, so there are 8 cells that need to be powered in order to get the battery up and running again. Each cell requires a certain voltage in order to stay powered.

You can figure out the required voltage by trying a few combinations and seeing how full the charge bar gets. If it doesn't fill up, you need more volts. If it sparks red, then it is overfull and needs less volts.

Each cell uses a different amount of buttons in order to get the result, you can test this by clicking as many buttons at once and seeing how many stay on. Just because a cell can have 5 buttons active, doesn't mean you need 5 active.

I hope this makes sense, I'm so sorry for the lack of tutorial.

Ah the 20 at the start confused me. I tried a few times I get the thrid keypad and it just stays full and doesn't clear or goto the next screen. Good idea, just a bit more polish.

Developer

The 20 is a complete mistake, it shouldn't have been there lol. I couldn't figure out how to make the third keypad bar work as it's a negative number. I have now figured it out, but too late for the jam! Definitely needs more polish! Thanks again X

Now that I read about it it made so much sense:) The gameplay is actually brilliant! Got through 8 cells with a great experience.

The visual effects are great! Since other people are encountering the same problem maybe a text indicating too much voltage could help aswell.

In addition, respect to you for fitting  so many  themes together! The three themes are actually well implemented:)

Nice job!

Wow, thank you so much! Speechless! X
