"SHMUP"

Me gusta trabajar solo, puedo participar?

ENGLISH VERSION:
Warp Arcade JAM is a fun way to generate ideas, meet other developers, and learn. Welcome!
THEME: "SHMUP"
A shmup (or shoot 'em up) is a genre of arcade video games where you control a ship or character moving across the screen fighting waves of enemies amidst a hail of bullets.
* If you're working on a new project, developing an idea, finishing a demo, or a complete game, you can present it at Arcade Jam—we want to see it!
Types of Shmups: 🕹️
Vertical: The screen scrolls from bottom to top (e.g., 1942, Truxton).
Horizontal: The screen scrolls from left to right (e.g., Gradius, R-Type). A word that defines a classic genre. If you already have a game or are making one of this type, we want to see it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 - "Shmup" Style - Lots of shooting and enemies.
2 - Game Story - Create a clear description and main objective.
3 - Gameplay - Fluid gameplay that makes it easy for the player to learn the objectives.
4 - Graphics - Simple yet distinctive shapes.
5 - Cover Art - Create a cover for the game's presentation.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6 - Credits - Credits button with counter and "Start".
7 - Attract screen - Looping presentation showing how to play, scores, and bonuses.
8 - High Scores - "TOP 10" list of the best scores.
9 - Records - The highest score displayed on the screen.
✅ AI: Many programmers consult AI to check code and debug issues, solving various problems that were hindering the completion of their games or programs. A game created entirely with AI is noticeable and won't earn points in the final results.
Some features of the Arcades:
High Scores:
Alternately displayed historical records to encourage competition.
Attract screen:
This was the demo mode that activated automatically when the machine was not in use.
Its main purpose was to attract players' attention; a quick introduction about the story or objective of the game was played.
The machine played automatic games, showing the levels or character abilities.
Insert Coin:
Classic flashing "Insert Coin" text in the middle or lower part of the screen.

Yes! Many of the best ideas in history were created by a single person.
Any. We recommend generating HTML5 so users can play it in a browser, but it's not required.

The fairest way for developers in this JAM format was to create two categories: one for new developers who are only followed within the JAM, and another for invited developers who made updates both inside and outside the JAM.
Alpha (A):
Represents the beginning and excellence; it is associated with promising work that has only been showcased and developed primarily within our JAM.
Omega (Ω):
Represents the evolution of experiences prior to the JAM; it is a state that has reached a significant point and aims to surpass and update itself.
