Make something worth unwrapping this Christmas.
Wrapped Up 2026 is a festive game jam bringing developers, artists, musicians and creators together to make something new this Christmas.
Whether it's cosy, chaotic, snowy, spooky or completely unexpected, we want to see what you can create.
You'll have just over two weeks to create and submit a game. Work alone or build a team, use an engine you're comfortable with, and interpret the festive spirit however you like.
Your game doesn't have to feature Santa, presents or even Christmas itself. Winter, celebration, togetherness, giving, cold nights, terrible presents, festive chaos and plenty more are all fair game.
There is no required genre. Make a horror game, management sim, visual novel, platformer, puzzle, cosy game, ridiculous comedy game or something we haven't thought of.
The official theme will be revealed when the jam begins.
The theme is there to inspire you, not trap you. Creative and unusual interpretations are encouraged.
Entries will be reviewed by our judging panel after submissions close. Games will be considered across several categories, including:
Prize information and sponsors will be announced closer to the jam.
Most importantly: have fun and make something you're proud of.
Teams are absolutely welcome. Programmers, artists, writers, musicians, sound designers and complete beginners can all take part.
Don't have a team? That's fine too. Solo entries are just as welcome.
You're welcome here.
You don't need years of experience or a massive game. In fact, a small finished game is usually much better than an enormous unfinished one. Pick an idea you can realistically build, experiment with something new and enjoy making it.
We highly recommend joining our Discord if you're taking part in Wrapped Up 2026.
It's the best place to keep up with jam announcements, ask questions, find teammates, share your progress and chat with other participants.
The server is also home to our other game jams, so you can stick around for future events throughout 2027 and beyond.
Join the jam and we'll see you in December.
More announcements, judges, prizes and sponsor information coming soon.
