I think the only reason Ryeheart becomes mates with Hawkfeather is bc she reminds him of Lilacpath LIKE THEY LOOK SO MUCH ALIKE HAWKFEATHER AND LILACPATH!

yes...AND LILACPATH AND HAWKFEATHER LOOKS LIKE TWINS LIKE THEY COULD BE RELETIVES ALMOST! I hope you understand what I mean... (Imagen if we could make an AU we're Lilacpath and Hawkfeather are long lost twins or smth)
