This game was very enjoyable! I love playing wordle and this game kind of reminds me of spell cast from Discord! Thanks for the wonderful 10 minutes I spent playing this :)

Its a wonderful idea, but I wish I got to use more letters! Maybe I didn't get far enough, but if that's the case, give me more letters to start with! Still a fun game though and an even better concept. You should develop this idea further.

Thanks for the feedback, this is really helpful! A friend I showed this to also said it was harder with fewer letters, so I'll keep this in mind for future work on the game

I beat normal mode, somehow ended the last level and got rid of the opponent's health by more than half with the word "ASTIGMATISM", that was fun

I tried to do a word puzzle game a while back, but I never figured out how to do recognition of what the player typed. I am super impressed you got that working all by itself!

Honestly I think the theme was not implemented to a great degree, but on the other hand it was one the most fun games so far

Thank you! Haha finding a good word list was tough, but I prefer lists that have too many words rather than too few - when playtesting I got mad when a word I thought should count wasn't being accepted. Maybe I'll find a better word list in the future

Making a word game into a battle is such an interesting idea. Would definitely be interested to see more of what you were going for with sprites and such. Nice work for a second-ever jam!
